As a Chef at The Bay Club, managed by the Oberoi Group, you will play a crucial role in planning and preparing a variety of dishes to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include managing kitchen staff, sourcing quality ingredients, and keeping track of kitchen inventory. Collaboration with the food and beverage team is key to creating and updating menus that ensure customer satisfaction through the quality and presentation of meals. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and prepare a diverse range of dishes in line with the club's standards - Ensure cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen at all times - Manage kitchen staff, provide guidance, and oversee their work - Source high-quality ingredients for cooking and baking - Maintain accurate records of kitchen inventory levels - Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create and update menus - Ensure customer satisfaction through the quality and presentation of meals Qualifications Required: - Culinary skills in a variety of cuisines and techniques - Experience in kitchen management and staff supervision - Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards - Menu planning and inventory management skills - Excellent time management and organizational abilities - Strong communication and teamwork skills The Bay Club offers an exclusive by-invitation-only private members club experience, spanning over 120,000 sq.ft. in Maker Maxity, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
