Chapter Manager

Medline India is looking for a talented Chapter Manager with strong experience in building capabilities / skills related to B2B eCommerce Microservices program in Java, React, and Commerce tools. The candidate should have proven experience in Implementing standards and driving engineering excellenceThe Chapter Manager will combine strong People, Process, Program and technical experience with string technical acumen to facilitate the most effective development of capability, skills. Engineering and productivity improvements. The Chapter Manager will be accountable for building capabilities/skills of individualsThe Chapter Manager will work closely with IT leadership, Delivery managers, architecture, and technical teams Challenging & guiding squads on estimationThe Chapter Manager will be responsible to Provide inputs to DMs on individual's performance and ensuring the team is positioned to support new technologies and development approaches as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Challenging & guiding squads on estimation
• Provides technical leadership to software development teams
• inputs to DMs on individual's performance
• Need to be extremely self-driven and engaged in work
• Ensure that the team members remain smoothly engaged with Chapter as well as Delivery
• Promote a positive culture of engagement, collaboration, professionalism, and accountability
• Coach and mentor team members to enable personal and professional growth
• Collaborate with other leaders to define solutions, best practices, and architectural patterns
• Assist in managing relationships with technology vendors and service integrators
• Define and promote digital workplace initiatives that enable an information-driven work environment to enhance productivity and capability of the workforce
• Oversee and support solutions that ensure security, availability, and risk management
• Research and recommend investment, development, installation, and use of technology improvements
• Advocate effectively for the needs of the software development team
• Promote department-wide initiatives related to system availability and resiliency
  

Work Experience:

• 12 to 18 years of IT work experience including 6 to 8 years’ experience as chapter manager
  

Required Skills:

• Strong Front End Technology skills ReactJS, Next.js, and TypeScript or
• Strong Back End Technology Java, Spring boot, Microservices, Rest Api or
• Strong QA & Devops technology skills - Test automation, TDD, Jmeter, Selenium, Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Lab, Bit bucket, Cortex
• Any Public Cloud ( AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes/Docker is a must
• Ability to provide vision, direction in terms of people , process , program and technology best practices, estimation, efficiencies and productivity improvements.
• Experience with diverse application development practices, including both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
  

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field Or equivalent work experience
