As we continue to expand our presence and operations in India, we are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and strategically-minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and drive operational excellence across key support functions.
Role OverviewThe CFO will be a key member of the senior management team, overseeing the companys financial performance and supervising the Purchase, Accounts, HR, and Administration departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background in the manufacturing industry, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and contribute to both strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & ControlLead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processesMonitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirementsEnsure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), tax laws (Direct/Indirect), and statutory audit processesLiaise with external stakeholdersbanks, auditors, consultants, and government authoritiesPurchase & Procurement OversightSupervise the procurement process and support cost optimization initiativesImplement procurement controls, supplier evaluation systems, and contract complianceAlign purchasing activities with production and inventory requirementsAccounts ManagementOversee day-to-day accounting functions including ledger management, GST, TDS, and reconciliationsEnsure timely book closures and preparation of accurate financial statementsDrive improvements in reporting processes and internal financial controlsHR & Administration OversightOversee HR operations: payroll, statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, Gratuity), and policy implementationGuide recruitment, employee retention strategies, and performance management frameworksSupervise general administration including infrastructure, safety, and asset managementLeadership & GovernanceSupport the General Manager and Board with financial insights for strategic planningEvaluate capex proposals, automation opportunities, and new initiativesLead and mentor teams across the Finance, Purchase, HR, and Admin functions
Candidate ProfileEducational QualificationsMBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferredAdditional certifications in HR, law, or operations are a plus
Professional Experience
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance leadership rolesStrong exposure to manufacturing sector operations and compliance is mandatory
Skills & AttributesStrong grasp of Indian taxation, Companies Act, labor laws, and import/export regulationsFamiliarity with ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholdersHigh integrity, analytical thinking, and solution-oriented approachProficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi and Marathi preferred
