Ensure alignment of capital sourcing with organizational goals, maintaining liquidity, risk management, and investor confidence. Proactive engagement with investors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders. Audit and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks. Investment and Asset Management: Evaluating and managing investments to maximize returns and protect assets. CFAO - CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT(CD) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (OFTEN IN COORDINATION WITH THE CFAO): Strategic Planning: Identifying and prioritizing capital projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. Project Feasibility Analysis: Assessing the financial viability, technical feasibility, and potential return on investment of proposed projects. Project Financing: Securing necessary funding for capital projects through various sources, including debt, equity, or grants. Project Execution: Overseeing the implementation of capital projects, including procurement, construction, and commissioning. Performance Monitoring: Tracking project progress, managing costs, and ensuring adherence to project schedules. OVERLAP AND COORDINATION Financial Viability: The CFAO-CD plays a crucial role in evaluating the financial implications of capital projects, ensuring they are within the organization's financial capacity and align with long-term strategic goals.
