We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join our team at WITAN EXCEL PVT LTD, a "growth partnership" firm in the field of MSME. The CEO will lead the team of Executives/CEOs, taking reports directly from them and presenting periodic reports/presentations to the Board. The CEO is responsible for all executive management matters of all the companies assigned to him, and will report directly to the Group CEO.
Responsibilities:
Executive Management:
- Lead the executive management of the Groups business in alignment with the agreed strategy and commercial objectives set by the Board.
- Lead the executive team in implementing the Boards decisions.
- Ensure that the executive team is informed about forthcoming complex, contentious, or sensitive issues affecting the Group.
- Collaborate with Operating Companies to research, propose, and develop the Groups strategy and overall commercial objectives.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and safeguarding the Companys and its subsidiaries reputation while delivering strategic and commercial objectives.
Meetings:
- Provide input into the Boards agenda and propose agendas that reflect important strategic issues facing the Group.
- Maintain a dialogue with the Board on strategic matters and ensure accurate, timely, and clear reporting from the executive team.
Directors and Senior Management:
- Oversee induction programs for new Executives/CEOs and ensure appropriate management time is allocated for the process.
- Identify and address the development needs of executive directors and senior management reporting to them.
- Offer information and advice on succession planning to the Board and the Nomination Committee.
- Facilitate Management Development Reviews for executives and provide input to the wider Board evaluation process.
Relations with Shareholders:
- Lead the communication program with the Companys shareholders.
Other Responsibilities:
- Set and drive the vision and purpose of the organization.
- Promote and conduct the Groups affairs with the highest standards of integrity, probity, and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with the Boards approved procedures, including matters reserved to the Board.
- Provide input to the Board on appropriate changes to the Matters Reserved to the Board.
Head of Acquisition & Supply Chain Management:
Acquisition:
- Recruit and supervise the Sales & Business Development Team from front end to back end.
- Identify MSME units as per the required parameters to consider for on-boarding in a given Cluster/State/Region.
- Meet promoters to present the vision of Witan Excel.
- Understand their needs, identify gaps and opportunities.
- Understand their product, target markets & customers.
- Negotiate terms and revenue with such units.
- Finalize and complete documentation of the on-boarding of such Units.
- Define and devise PR strategy to achieve timely onboarding of companies.
Supply Chain Management:
- Understand the requirement of raw materials and other required services for MSME Units to run their production.
- Understand the consumption & re-ordering period of such raw materials.
- Analyze and identify qualitative and price-sensitive vendors.
- Understand cost factors of procurement and how to minimize costs with better options.
- Devise supply chain strategy to improve productivity, efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Understand ERP systems and related software.
- Develop first, second, and subsequent levels in the team to handle multiple products and business.
- Identify bottlenecks and create optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple vendors to create coordinated plans for business growth.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers & vendors to secure more profitable deals.
- Periodically report to the Board regarding business achievements and growth MoM.
