Job Description

Responsibilities
Lead the Payroll Team in providing professional and responsive Payroll service to customers.
Manage the Payroll Team in ensuring that all client employees are paid accurately and payslips, statutory returns and reports are produced and validated in a timely manner.
Ensure appropriate workload allocation, sharing of knowledge.
Review performance and instil a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.
Train Payroll processors to reach different levels of competencies by ensuring they complete the certification levels requires.
Adhere and ensure adherence to defined service level agreements and statutory requirements, ensuring accurate payment every month.
Complete quality checks for accuracy by establishing accuracy standards expected.
Competencies
Sound working knowledge of managing a high-volume payroll.
Ability to liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations.
Able to articulate complicated information to non-Payroll experts.
Complex analytical skills.
Problem-solving skills.
7-9 years
