Job Description

As a Team Lead in this role, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team to create a supportive work environment that fosters growth and productivity. You will cultivate a culture of communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Your role will involve providing coaching and mentorship to staff, promoting their professional development and engagement. You will implement strategies to optimize workflow and achieve operational goals, while monitoring performance metrics to address challenges and improve outcomes. Upholding high standards of customer service will be crucial, as you address customer needs and feedback promptly and effectively. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and executing promotional activities and events to attract and retain customers. Key Responsibilities: - Check the availability of adequate inventory in the department. - Monitor the departmental record of cleaning and housekeeping. - Ensure the attendance and availability of technicians, reporting doctors, phlebotomists, and housekeeping staff in the department. - Follow up with the Operations Manager for backup of technicians and other departmental staff in case of absenteeism for both 1st and 2nd shift employees. - Track the actual Turnaround Time (TAT) of each test in the department and record any deviations, informing the Head of Operations at the Head Office. - Follow up on any urgent reports that need to be released. - Handle departmental grievances related to patients, technicians, and machine breakdowns. Qualifications Required: - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a culture of teamwork. - Experience in implementing operational strategies and optimizing workflow. - Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to address customer needs effectively. - Prior experience in handling inventory, departmental records, and staff scheduling. - Ability to track and analyze performance metrics to drive improvements. - Problem-solving skills to address challenges and deviations effectively. - Prior experience in handling departmental grievances and resolving conflicts.
