2. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful professional to drive our retail expansion strategy by identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new properties. The role involves strong market research, property negotiations, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and profitable site acquisitions.

• Research and identify potential sites for business expansion in target areas.
• Build and maintain strong networks with landlords, property agents, developers, and local authorities.
• Conduct site visits and assess locations based on business needs (size, cost, accessibility, catchment potential).
• Analyze local markets, competition, and customer behavior to support decision-making.
• Maintain records of property options, visits, and negotiations for management review.
• Assist in negotiating lease terms or purchase agreements with property stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams during the acquisition process.
• Ensure all acquired properties meet legal, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Support execution of the company's expansion strategy through timely property acquisition.

3. DESIRED CANDIDATE'S CHARACTERISTICS:

• Proven experience in property sourcing, real estate, or business development (retail/F&B industry preferred). •Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel for site visits and market research.
• Basic knowledge of property leases, contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Established contacts with landlords, developers, or property agents is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with local market trends, property prices, and catchment demographics.
