Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to handle end-to-end category management for a retail supermarket or hypermarket setup.
The role involves developing category strategies, managing product assortment, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing pricing and promotional strategies to maximize profitability.
This position requires close coordination with buying, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure smooth category execution.
The Category Manager must have strong vendor management skills, market knowledge, and the ability to drive category performance.
Prior experience in retail category management with proven results in sales growth and cost optimization is essential.

Work Experience Required

7-10 Years of relevant experience as a Category / Buying / Purchase Manager in Retail Supermarket / Hypermarket setup.
