Cashier/ Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (Cashier Cum Accountant) to manage our day-to-day accounting operations along with cashier responsibilities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth cash handling, and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily cash transactions, including receipts, payments, and petty cash management. Maintain accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or other). Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger entries, and financial statements. Monitor expenses and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed. Supervise and guide junior accounting staff (if applicable). Generate and provide management with financial reports and insights. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/ICWA preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, including cashier operations. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and compliance regulations. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software. Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail. Skills & Competencies: Ability to manage cash flow efficiently. Strong time management and multitasking skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
