Job Title: Project Manager / Group Manager – Model DevelopmentDepartment: Product Development / Engineering Location: Rohtak (or as applicable) Reports To: Senior Leadership / Head – Product Development Education Qualification:B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines. Preferred: Experience in project planning, project management, coordination, and execution within the automotive industry. Job Role:Position: Project Manager / Group Manager Responsible for leading and executing multiple model development projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organizational objectives. Drive team performance, support management decisions with data-backed inputs, and lead product development strategies. Key Responsibilities:Lead multiple product development projects from concept to execution. Define direction and development strategy for new model launches. Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and provide justification for project approvals. Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of engineering, testing, and planning tasks. Present project status updates, risks, and solutions to senior management. Guide and mentor cross-functional team members. Participate in team building, resource planning, and performance evaluation. Technical & Functional Competencies:Strong understanding of the MSIL model development process. Hands-on experience in engineering, vehicle testing, or project planning. Technical knowledge of vehicle systems and sub-systems. Familiarity with IBOM, ECN/Drawing processes, part development, and manufacturing plant coordination. Up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the automotive sector, with ability to assess impact on upcoming models.
