Key Responsibilities:

1. Career & Academic Guidance

• Offer individualized counselling to students in Grades 9–12 (CBSE) and DP1–DP2 (IBDP).
• Administer and interpret psychometric and aptitude assessments.
• Assist students in exploring interests, strengths, and career aspirations.
• Support course and subject selection aligned with academic and career goals.

2. College & University Admissions Support

• Guide students in national and international university applications (UCAS, Common App, OUAC, etc.).
• Assist in crafting key application documents: SOPs, LORs, personal essays, and resumes.
• Organize college fairs, university visits, and information sessions.
• Stay updated on admissions trends, scholarship opportunities, and testing requirements (SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL).

3. Parent & Teacher Engagement

• Conduct workshops for parents on global admissions, career planning, and application strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and coordinators to ensure holistic student support.
• Provide regular feedback and progress updates to stakeholders.

4. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive student records, progress plans, and outcome tracking.
• Report alumni success data to refine and evolve counselling strategies.

5. School-Wide Career Initiatives

• Lead career awareness campaigns, internship programs, and mentorship opportunities.
• Facilitate sessions with industry experts, guest speakers, and alumni.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Certification in career counselling or psychometric testing is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within IB/CBSE frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a global perspective.
• Familiarity with international admissions processes and college planning tools.
