Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon (CTVS)

Lead Cardiothoracic Procedures:
Perform complex surgeries including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, thoracic resections, vascular grafting, mediastinal tumor removal, and congenital defect correction.Comprehensive Patient Evaluation:
Assess diagnostic imaging, medical history, and interdisciplinary evaluations to design individualized surgical strategies.Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with cardiologists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and surgical nursing teams to deliver integrated care.Pre- and Post-Surgical Care:
Guide patients and their families through the full surgical journey—from pre-op counseling and consent to post-op monitoring and rehabilitation support.Clinical Governance:
Ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards, surgical safety protocols, and patient outcome benchmarks.Mentorship & Training:
Supervise and train surgical residents and fellows; actively participate in CME programs, surgical audits, and peer learning forums.Innovation & Continuous Learning:
Stay current with surgical advances including minimally invasive techniques, hybrid OR protocols, and emerging technologies such as ECMO, TAVI, and robotics.What You Bring
Qualifications:
M.Ch. or DNB in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) from a recognized medical institution.Experience:
1–5 years of independent or supervised surgical practice in a multispecialty or cardiac-focused hospital setting.Technical Expertise:
Proven proficiency in both open-heart and thoracic surgical techniques; familiarity with video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is a plus.Clinical Acumen:
Deep understanding of cardiothoracic pathophysiology, perioperative management, and complication mitigation.Team Player:
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills; ability to lead operative teams and communicate clearly under pressure.Ethics & Empathy:
