Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Car Evaluator to assess the condition, quality, and market value of vehicles. The successful candidate will perform thorough inspections, identify mechanical and cosmetic issues, verify documentation, and provide accurate vehicle appraisals to support purchasing, sales, or insurance decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles, including exterior, interior, engine, chassis, and undercarriage.
• Evaluate vehicle history reports, service records, and ownership documentation.
• Identify signs of accident damage, repair work, and non-original parts.
• Test-drive vehicles (where applicable) to assess performance, handling, and functionality.
• Determine fair market value based on condition, age, mileage, and market trends.
• Prepare detailed evaluation and appraisal reports with photographs and supporting data.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to sales teams, management, or clients.
• Stay up to date with automotive market prices, new model releases, and valuation standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and ethical appraisal practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in automotive technology preferred).
• Proven experience in vehicle inspection, appraisal, or automotive sales.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repair methods, and valuation tools
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using inspection software or digital reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in automotive inspection or appraisal (e.g., ASE, I-VIC, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle technology.
• Experience in auction environments, car dealerships, or insurance assessments.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily field-based work with travel to dealerships, customer sites, or auction yards.
• Physical activity required (bending, kneeling, lifting light components).
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
