Role Overview: As a Capital Markets Business Analyst at BFS Consulting, you will be responsible for working in domains such as Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, Securities Services, Trading, Clearing & Settlement. Your role will involve handling Brokerage, Advisory, Portfolio Management, Cash Management, Corporate Actions, Securities lending and Borrowing, Collateral Management, Asset Servicing, and Margining/Risk management. You will also be dealing with Equities, Bonds (Fixed Income), Mutual Funds, and Derivatives (Futures & Options). Key Responsibilities: - Act as a Product Owner (PO) / Business Analyst (BA) owning the backlog and collaborating closely with the Product Lead and Technology Owner to prioritize, create, and refine the backlog. - Demonstrate expertise in Requirement Elicitation, Prioritization, Scope understanding, Gap Analysis, Stakeholder analysis & Management, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Product Backlog Management. - Proficient in story writing to support business and technical requirements for feature development, Production stability, security, and resiliency requirements. - Skilled in creating Business Requirement Document, Functional Requirement Document, Use Case specification Document, Workflows, and Implementation guides. - Perform Testing and accepting stories with a strong understanding of SDLC processes and Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - 4 to 13 years of experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or related domains - Good understanding of Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Derivatives - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Certification in Agile methodologies would be a plus (Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.)
