Job Description

A Café Attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food & beverage preparation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day café operations. This role requires a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmen Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu choices Take orders accurately and process billing/payment Serve food & beverages promptly Handle customer queries or concerns professionally Food & Beverage Support Assist in preparing basic beverages (tea/coffee/juices) Coordinate with barista/kitchen staff for orders Ensure food is served fresh and in proper presentation Cleanliness & Maintenance Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and customer areas Keep service stations stocked with cutlery, napkins, cups, etc. Follow hygiene & safety standards Operational TasksAssist with opening & closing duties Maintain inventory and report low stock to the supervisor Pack takeaway/delivery orders Ensure smooth flow during rush hours Skills & Requirements Minimum 6 months to 1 year of café or restaurant experience preferred Good communication and customer-handling skills Basic knowledge of food & beverages Ability to stand for long hours and multitask Positive attitude and teamwork Flexible with shift timings
