Position: CA / Semi Qualified CA (Expert in GST/Customs/FTP)

Key Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns, registrations, and handle GST reconciliations.​
• Advise clients or internal teams on complex GST, Customs, and FTP matters—including classification, valuation, exemptions, and procedural compliance.​
• Draft replies to GST/Customs notices, appeals, participate in departmental assessments and handle client/litigation queries related to indirect tax.​
• Monitor and analyze notifications, circulars, and amendments in GST, Customs, and FTP regulations and implement process changes accordingly.​
• Prepare and review documentation for refunds, input tax credits, and export/import incentives under GST and FTP, including registration and renewal of various licenses.​
• Handle compliance and documentation related to exports/imports under Foreign Trade Policy—EPCG, Advance Authorization, Duty Drawback, and related schemes.​
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives in the areas of indirect tax and trade policy.​

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA with cleared Group I or II of CA Final.
• Demonstrated experience (from articleship or previous roles) in GST/Customs/FTP compliance, advisory, and audit.​
• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of GST law, Customs Act, and Foreign Trade Policy.​
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software (Tally, SAP, Winman, GSTN utilities), and advanced MS Excel.​
• Good communication and drafting skills for handling notices, client queries, and inter-departmental correspondence.​
• Analytical skills and a proactive approach to changes in indirect tax laws and international trade regulations.​
