For this role, we focus on thought leadership content in business brokerage, finance, and entrepreneurship, helping entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners make smarter decisions when buying, selling, or valuing companies.


We are looking for a proactive and skilled B2B Content Writer to create in-depth, SEO-friendly content that simplifies complex topics like business valuation, M&A, and small business finance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our strategy team and founders to produce authoritative articles that position Buzztainment, and our clients as trusted voices in business and finance. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of entrepreneurship, small business operations, and financial concepts, combined with a talent for storytelling.


Responsibilities:

  • Write in-depth articles (800-1,500 words) on topics such as:
  • Business valuation and exit planning
  • Buying or selling small businesses
  • SBA financing and deal structures
  • Market and industry insights
  • Conduct thorough research and fact-check data for accuracy and credibility
  • Apply SEO best practices to all articles
  • Interview brokers, founders, or other experts to transform insights into clear, valuable content
  • Edit and refine drafts to align with brand voice and tone
  • Pitch new content ideas that reflect market trends and audience interests

Estimated Weekly Commitment: 10- 15 hours per week (flexible, outcome-driven work schedule)


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a B2B or Financial Content Writer, or in a similar professional writing role
  • Strong understanding of small business operations, valuation, or entrepreneurship
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in an engaging, human way
  • Comfortable using WordPress or other CMS platforms


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience writing for business brokers, M&A firms, or financial advisors
  • Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SurferSEO, SEMrush)
  • Familiarity with U.S. small-business and investment ecosystems
  • Ability to develop storytelling-driven business content (case studies, success stories)
