Job Description

Position Overview The Business Unit Head - CSS Division will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring the division meets its strategic objectives.

The role requires a strong sales and marketing background to expand market share, establish a robust sales pipeline and accelerate revenue growth in the automotive sector.

As the CSS Division Leader, the CEO will work closely with the Executive Director (Operations) and the Director - Sales & Marketing to ensure seamless execution of strategic business goals, sales expansion and operational efficiencies while delivering strong P&L performance. Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

• Achieve and exceed the CSS Division's sales target

• Focusing on new product development and targeted business development.

• Strengthen relationships with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to drive higher volumes.

• Develop and implement a market penetration strategy for new geographies and customer segments.

2. Sales & Business Development Leadership

• Lead the sales & marketing function, ensuring alignment with business growth plans.

• Ensure CRM systems, customer engagement strategies, and data-driven decision-making for sales forecasting.

• Drive pricing strategy and competitive positioning in the global automotive market.

• Establish partnerships and alliances to drive business synergies and explore JV/M&A opportunities.

3. Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization

4. P&L & Financial Performance Management

• Own the P&L of the CSS Division, ensuring profitability and return on capital employed (ROCE) improvement.

• Drive cost management strategies including raw material sourcing optimization, power consumption reduction, and waste minimization. • Implement strong financial controls and risk management frameworks. * Inventory Management 5. Strategic Planning & Board Engagement • Present monthly performance updates to the Board of Directors, providing insights on revenue, profitability, operations, and market conditions. • Develop long-term strategic plans covering proejctions with the capex plans aligning with Galas vision • Identify new product development initiatives to ensure next years projected sales are secured in advance. Budget and capex 6. Leadership & Team Development • Foster a high-performance culture within operations and sales teams. • Ensure seamless collaboration between Operations (COO) & Sales (Head Sales & Marketing) to drive business success. • Invest in leadership development, training, and succession planning for key roles. Key Qualifications & Skills: • 15+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or General Management in the automotive components or industrial manufacturing industry. • Strong track record in scaling sales, driving business expansion and P&L management. • Deep understanding of automotive supply chains, OEM procurement processes and automotive trends. • Expertise in operational excellence, lean manufacturing and Business excellence. • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive long-term vision and execution plans. • Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams across sales, operations and finance. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to boards and senior leadership teams.
