Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Technology Vision

• Define and drive the back-end engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and enterprise technology vision
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
• Collaborate with senior leadership on technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives

Engineering & Delivery Management

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of back-end systems, ensuring timely, quality, and efficient execution
• Establish and enforce best practices in software development, CI/CD, code quality, testing, and security
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple platforms

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing engineering teams
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Set clear objectives, track performance, and provide career development guidance

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with product, architecture, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Engage with global stakeholders to ensure alignment, effective communication, and risk mitigation
• Advocate for engineering priorities while balancing technical debt, innovation, and business impact

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and adoption of emerging technologies
• Drive improvements in engineering practices, tools, and frameworks
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure MG Global Services remains at the forefront of innovation

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in senior engineering leadership roles, ideally in large-scale digital platforms or enterprise applications
• Strong expertise in back-end technologies, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data management
• Experience in Agile/DevOps practices and leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy, architecture, and engineering execution
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
• Prior experience in BFSI, asset management, or insurance domain is a plus
