The Role
Reports to: Business Head – VTBAAs a Business Line Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and strategic direction of your assigned business line. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage key customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence while aligning with the broader goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the divisions and Product companies.
- Define and execute the business line strategy for assigned divisions in alignment with VTBA’s overall objectives.
- Lead management (Manage business Leads from the touch points with internal customers ) to maximize value creation and efficient governance of the resources.
- Drive consultative, value-based approaches across all the competences being offered.
- Collaborate with the Divisional/Local Teams to identify the Roadmaps and build strategy to engage and add value.
- Identify and build new competencies to support the Divisions
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable business solutions.
- Monitor project trends, customer feedback to manage customer needs.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the business line, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Service) to deliver customer value.
- Track and report on KPIs, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Maintain and improve Profitability by Managing costs.
Team & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What we expect of you?
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field); MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a commercial or technical leadership role.
- Proven track record in business development, P&L management, and customer engagement.
- Experience in a matrix organization and working with global teams is preferred.
