Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging BI tools and analytics platforms to transform data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires expertise in BI tools, data visualization, and analytics methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• BI Tool Management:

  Configure, maintain, and optimize BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, TIBCO Spotfire, or QlikView to meet business needs.

• Data Analysis:

  Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

• Dashboard Development:

  Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

• Data Integration:

  Connect BI tools to various data sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) and ensure seamless data integration.

• Performance Optimization:

  Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability for large datasets.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Work closely with business users to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure successful adoption of BI solutions.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain technical documentation, including dashboard designs, data models, and workflows.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Stay updated on BI tool enhancements and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

• Experience:

  6-8 years of experience working with BI tools and analytics platforms.

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, TIBCO Spotfire, or QlikView.

Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.

Experience with data integration and ETL processes.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, or JavaScript).

Knowledge of SQL and database systems.

• Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in one or more BI tools (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Power BI Certification).
• Experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, or manufacturing where BI is critical.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and SaaS platforms.
