Business Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    Define and implement business strategies aligned with company goals to drive sales, profitability, and market share in the electric two-wheeler segment.
  • Sales & Marketing Management:

    Oversee all sales and marketing operations, ensuring strong brand positioning and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Dealer & Channel Development:

    Build, manage, and strengthen dealer/distributor networks across regions to achieve consistent business performance.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, mentor, and motivate regional managers, sales teams, and marketing executives to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Business Expansion:

    Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and geographical markets for expansion.
  • Product Strategy:

    Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align product development with customer preferences and market demand.
  • Market Analysis:

    Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, government policies, and EV incentives to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Ensure efficiency in supply chain, logistics, and customer service processes for smooth business operations.
  • Financial Management:

    Develop budgets, control expenses, and drive profitability through cost optimization and strategic pricing.
  • Brand Promotion:

    Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and corporate reputation.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Provide detailed business reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to management for informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing

    from a reputed institution.
  • 815 years of experience

    in the

    Electric Vehicle (Two-Wheeler)

    or

    Automobile

    industry, with at least

    35 years in a leadership or business management role

    .
  • Strong knowledge of EV market dynamics, dealer operations, and government EV policies.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain high-performing sales and distribution teams.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in business development, operations, and profitability management.
  • Proficiency in
