About the Role
The Associate Director - Business Finance will act as a strategic finance partner to business leadership, driving key decisions around growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong analytical and commercial skills, business judgment, and stakeholder management to ensure accurate planning, governance, and performance tracking. The incumbent will lead a team of finance professionals, build robust financial frameworks, and work cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that enable business success. Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and functional leaders to drive financial and strategic decision-making. Develop and manage Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and long-term financial models using a detailed bottoms-up approach. Conduct monthly reviews of business performance, analyze variances, and identify actionable insights. Track and manage OKRs to ensure financial goals align with business priorities. Lead financial governance, revenue cycle management, and controllership processes. Mentor and develop a high-performing business finance team. Perform scenario analysis for new business initiatives and product changes, with recommendations for management. Support strategic and business development initiatives through financial modeling, projections, and deal evaluation. Drive process improvements through automation and standardization. Manage ad-hoc analysis requests and provide timely insights for key decisions. Candidate Profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute. 8-10 years of overall experience, with at least 7 years in Business Finance or FP&A. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach. What’s in it for You
