Business Development - Trauma / Spine

Job Purpose:

To drive growth of the Trauma & Spine segment through effective doctor engagement, referral management, and business development initiatives across Shalby hospitals, ensuring consistent increase in patient inflow and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Doctor Referral Management

• Identify and build strong relationships with orthopedic, trauma, and spine surgeons within and outside Shalby network.
• Conduct regular visits to external doctors, clinics, and trauma centers to generate patient referrals.
• Coordinate with consultants and hospital teams to ensure smooth patient admission and service delivery.
• Maintain and update a doctor referral database and track referral performance.

Business Development Activities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the trauma & spine segment.
• Identify new business opportunities, corporate tie-ups, and partnerships.
• Organize CMEs, doctor meetings, and awareness programs to enhance visibility of Shalby’s Trauma & Spine services.
• Analyze referral trends and prepare periodic performance and revenue reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Clinical, TPA) to ensure end-to-end support for referred cases.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market dynamics in trauma & spine care.
• Share insights with management for strategic decision-making.
