Role Description

Business Development Specialist-Enterprise Sales

Business Development Specialist,


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute a time-bound client acquisition strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Create a detailed business plan to target enterprise clients and expand market reach.

Consultative & Solution-Based Selling

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients by understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Lead solution-selling conversations to demonstrate how shiplog can address specific customer pain points.

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Generate and qualify leads through a mix of on-ground visits, cold outreach (calls/emails), and networking.
  • Nurture warm prospects and identify new opportunities by aligning services with client requirements.

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Build, track, and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise leads.
  • Engage stakeholders across the decision-making chain to advance deals through the funnel.

Commercial Scoping & Deal Closure

  • Collaborate with the Solution Design (Pre-sales) team to scope commercial proposals, respond to RFPs, and craft high-impact presentations.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely closure of deals.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years

    of experience in front-end business development.
  • Preferred exposure to industries such as

    3PL warehousing,B2C/D2C enterprise sales (mandatory)

    , or

    supply chain consulting.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand, price, and negotiate complex deals.
  • Excellent

    communication

    skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong

    analytical and problem-solving

    abilities, essential for a consultative sales process.

  • Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional coordination.
