Business Development & Sales Intern

About the Role- Dueloy Leather is seeking a dynamic, driven, and design-savvy Business Development & Sales Intern to fuel our growth and elevate our sourcing ecosystem. This is a high-impact role combining strategic outreach & client engagement key pillars that support our reputation for crafting top-tier leather furniture and luxury interiors. This is a full-time internship on-site role in Gurugram. The intern will be responsible for daily tasks including conducting market research, generating leads, assisting in customer service, and supporting the sales team. Other duties include analyzing sales data and communicating effectively with team members and clients to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities- Business Development Identify, approach, and convert high-value clients including architects, interior designers, luxury home-buyers, and premium hospitality projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with design firms, procurement teams, and industry influencers. Represent Dueloy at high-end trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings. Prepare and present compelling pitches, project decks, and brand narratives to prospective clients. Drive growth through strategic partnerships and collaborations with luxury interior stakeholders. Track leads, build a sales funnel, and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions. Qualifications: Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities Effective Communication and Customer Service skills 0-1 Year Experience in Lead Generation Ability to work collaboratively and independently Proactive and detail-oriented approach Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred Extras: is a plus Strong network within the architecture & interior design industry is a plus. Knowledge of leather, upholstery materials, hardware, and sourcing logistics is highly preferred. Well-versed in luxury consumer behavior and design aesthetics.
