Business Development Officer

• A Business Development Officer in Ranchi for Personal Loans (PL), Business Loans (BL), Home Loans (HL), and Loan Against Property (LAP) is responsible for sourcing new business, building strong client relationships, and driving growth in multiple loan segments within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for PL, BL, HL, and LAP by conducting market research, generating leads, and qualifying potential clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, referral partners, brokers, and local businesses to ensure a continuous pipeline of quality leads.
• Execute field sales activities including cold calling, client meetings, product presentations, and documentation collection.
• Coordinate with internal teams (credit, operations, compliance) for smooth loan application processing, approval, and disbursal.
• Negotiate and close deals, prepare proposals and contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and share feedback with management to refine business strategy.
• Maintain sales and business development reports/MIS, regularly update management on achievements and planning.
• Participate in community and promotional events to increase product awareness and develop new leads.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in business, marketing, or related field, with 1–5 years of sales or business development experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and convincing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a field sales environment.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (MS Office, CRM software).
• Good understanding of loan products and local market dynamics in Ranchi.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
