Business Development Officer

As a Business Development Officer at CRISIL Ratings, your role includes acquiring new clients (mid-sized corporate companies) for credit ratings and managing existing client portfolios. This sales profile will require travelling in the allocated area for client meetings, bank meetings, and more. Your responsibilities will involve: - Making direct cold calls in the industrial area of the respective location - Visiting bank branches to collect fresh data - Scheduling meetings with prospective clients to promote CRISIL and the benefits of credit ratings - Gathering feedback from customers and sharing it with the analytical team - Collecting surveillance fees for the rating process - Securing mandates for enhanced debt facilities from existing clients - Organizing banker meetings and presentations in the area/city to update them on bank loan ratings products and processes. To excel in this role, you should have experience in business development and lead generation, preferably for mid corporates. The essential qualification required is an MBA in Sales and Marketing or any graduate degree. An MBA is preferred for this position.
