The Business Development Manager will drive revenue by consulting students and parents, understanding their learning needs, and recommending the right educational solutions. This is a sales-driven, target-oriented role requiring strong communication, persistence, and consultative selling skills.
Convert leads (inbound + outbound) into enrolments through structured counselling sessions (calls, virtual, home visits).
Conduct detailed career/learning needs analysis with parents & students.
Achieve weekly/monthly revenue and admission targets.
Handle objections, build trust, and close high-value sales effectively.
🔹 Business Development & Outreach
Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers to create student lead pipelines.
Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, and workshops.
Partner with influencers (teachers, tuition faculty, alumni) for student referrals.
🔹 Data & Process Management
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and conversions in CRM/ERP systems.
Track sales funnel metrics (leads → meetings → closures).
Share market intelligence and competitor updates with management.
Work closely with the marketing team for local campaigns.
Collaborate with product/counselling teams to customize solutions for student needs.
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2–6 years’ experience in EdTech / Education Sales / High-ticket B2C sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English + local language).
Proficiency in CRM, Excel, digital communication tools.
High energy, persistence, and target-driven mindset.
Willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
