Job Description

As a Business Development Manager/Executive with over 4 years of experience in online bidding and client acquisition, you will be responsible for managing and growing profiles on various freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru. Your primary focus will be on bidding for high-quality custom web and mobile app development projects, writing tailored proposals, and negotiating pricing and timelines to convert leads into successful business opportunities. You must possess exceptional written and spoken English skills to effectively communicate with clients during discovery calls, requirement discussions, and ongoing updates. Collaborating closely with the technical team, you will provide accurate estimates, project planning, and explain custom development solutions such as CMS, CRM, ERP systems, APIs, and frontend/backend frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and enhance profiles on Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and similar platforms. - Bid on custom development projects in web and mobile domains. - Craft personalized proposals, cover letters, and negotiate pricing & timelines. - Conduct end-to-end client communication including discovery calls and requirement discussions. - Collaborate with the tech team for project estimates and planning. - Maintain client relationships for long-term engagement. - Achieve monthly targets for leads, conversions, and revenue. Requirements: - Minimum 4 years of experience in online bidding and business development. - Strong expertise in custom web/app development projects. - Proficiency in freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru. - Excellent English communication skills. - Ability to independently handle client calls and build trust with international clients. - Sound knowledge of development technologies like MERN Stack, PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Flutter, React Native, etc. - Familiarity with lead generation tools and CRM systems.
