Job Description

Job Title

  • Identify new business opportunities

    : Conduct market research to identify potential customers, new markets, and trends in software and IT services.
  • Lead generation

    : Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, cultivate relationships with prospects, and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client relationship management

    : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and recommending software or service solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Sales presentations and proposals

    : Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and closing

    : Lead negotiations with clients, manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure, and ensure successful contract agreements.
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with the marketing, product, and development teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Target achievement

    : Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Market intelligence

    : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements, and share insights with internal teams to refine strategies.
  • CRM management

    : Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the company's CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Education

    : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience

    : Minimum of 10-15 years of business development or sales experience in the software or IT or BPO services industry.
  • Technical understanding

    : Familiarity with software solutions (SaaS, cloud services, enterprise software) IT and BPO services (consulting, managed services, business process transformation etc).
  • Proven track record

    : Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Excellent communication skills

    : Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving

    : Ability to lead negotiations and solve client problems by presenting tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated

    : A proactive, results-driven individual who can work independently and in a team environment.
  • CRM knowledge

    : Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) to manage leads, track progress, and report on sales activities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability

    : Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and stay focused under pressure.
