Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.

New Business Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and acquire new customers in target markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and execute strategies for expanding the companys client base.

Customer Feedback & Satisfaction

  • Gather, analyze, and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
  • Ensure timely responses and follow-ups with customers on queries, feedback, and concerns.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Oversee and guide the team in coordinating with plant operations and R&D for customer requirements.
  • Ensure customer feedback and RFQs are shared with the respective teams and tracked until closure.
  • Monitor timely preparation and submission of quotations/proposals.

Team Management & Reporting

  • Provide guidance and support to the business development team.
  • Monitor team activities to ensure alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client development, and market insights.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10 - 14 years of experience in business development, client relations, or sales (preferably in manufacturing/engineering industry).
  • Experience in handling RFQs, customer audits, and technical coordination with R&D/plant teams will be an added advantage.
