Quality Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and final products to identify any defects or deviations from product drawing, Control Plan & Customer specific requirement (CSR). To summarise the product review and observation in PPT and Excel Sheet in proper way and communicated to concern department. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans. Lead root cause analysis investigations through 7QC tool, 5W1H & 8D for quality issues and implement preventive measures to minimize risks of recurrence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Preferred candidate profile Good knowledge of Injection Moulding defects and probable causes. Good Knowledge to handle the measuring Tools as like Vernier Callipers, Height Gauge, Micrometre, & VMM. Part Inspection, Knowledge of drawing reading. Report making good knowledge of Excel & PPT. Problem solving tools 7QC, Rejection analysis, CAPA report filling. Basic Knowledge of ISO/IATF. Basic Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, SPC & MSA.
