Legal Executive

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Review, draft and negotiate contracts for business including confidentiality agreement, supply agreement, development agreement in licensing agreements, out licensing agreements, service agreements, MOUs, LOIs, lease agreements and others. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to seek inputs on proposed business relationships and finalize contracts. Advice and provide legal support to business teams on contract matters including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Maintain and update legal records. Contribute in designing and implementing policies and procedures covering contract negotiation. Manage contract lifecycle by keeping track of status of contracts, whether in draft, signature, expired or otherwise. Keeps informed of new laws, regulations and industry trends affecting the company. Coordinate with outside counsel. Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues and provide recommendation on legal strategies. Assist in the development of standard legal templates, polies and procedures. Preferred candidate profile Candidate should have completed LLB with at least 2 years of experience in relevant field. Should have understanding of various laws including contract law, employment laq, intellectual property and others. Should be able to clearly and effectively communicate legal concepts to internal stakeholders within the organization. Should be staying up to date with legal technology, updates, case laws and amendments to case laws Should possess business acumen and strategic thinking
