Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented and ambitious Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT and Media. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. You'll work closely with our IT, BPO, and VFX teams to deliver exceptional results and expand our market presence. You'll also be expected to work across all departments, create and track KPIs, lead and coach the team, and drive overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT, BPO, and VFX sectors- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth- Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics- Create and track KPIs for the team and drive performance improvement- Lead and coach the team to achieve sales targets and business objectives- Provide business coaching and training to team members- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions- Manage and report on sales performance, including revenue forecasts and pipeline management- Identify and propose new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations- Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reporting- Work across all departments to drive business growth and improve processes
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the IT and Media industry- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets- Strong understanding of IT, BPO, and VFX industry trends and market dynamics- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- MBA or equivalent degree preferred- Basic accounting knowledge and experience with financial analysis and reporting- Willingness to travel extensively across India and abroad (up to 50%)- Own vehicle and willingness to work on weekends
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in CRM software and sales enablement tools- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media- Experience in public speaking, presentation, and negotiation- Strong leadership and team management skills- Familiarity with competency mapping and soft skills training- Experience in staff development and training
