We are a leading System Integrator Organization specializing in CCTV & Surveillance, Smart City, Safe City, and e-Governance projects. As part of our expansion in Government Business operations across India, we are seeking dynamic and experienced Business Development Managers to strengthen our presence across Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, and Kolkata regions.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (Government Business) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and driving government business opportunities in the assigned region, particularly in CCTV, Surveillance, and other technology-driven government projects.
The role involves creating business proposals, close coordination with the Bidding Team for tender participation, and proactive liaising with State and Central Government departments to gather intelligence on upcoming projects and tenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in CCTV, Surveillance, Smart City, Safe City, and other government infrastructure projects.
  Create and present business proposals aligned with customer requirements and company capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, police departments, municipal corporations, and related agencies.
• Liaise with State and Central Government authorities to gather early insights on upcoming tenders, RFPs, and procurement plans.
• Work closely with the Bidding Team to provide inputs, technical requirements, and market feedback for preparing competitive proposals.
• Manage the complete sales and tendering cycle — from opportunity identification to post-submission follow-ups and project award.
  Conduct competitor and market analysis to support pricing strategies and project positioning.
• Coordinate with Project and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of awarded projects.
• Represent the company at government meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions to enhance visibility and networking.
• Ensure timely MIS reporting and communication with Head Office.

Regional Focus

• Mumbai (Western Region): Work with Maharashtra Government, Police Departments, and local municipal bodies. Knowledge of Marathi preferred.
• Delhi/NCR, Bihar, Kolkata (Northern Region): Liaise with Central Government Ministries, NIC/NICSI, Delhi-based PSUs, and security agencies.
• Kolkata (Eastern Region): Engage with West Bengal Government, Police Departments, and Eastern India PSUs. Knowledge of Bengali preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Business, or Management.
• 7–12 years of experience in business development for government or public sector projects, especially in CCTV, Surveillance, Smart City, or related domains.
• Strong knowledge of government tendering, procurement, and empanelment processes.
• Proven track record in creating proposals, managing tenders, and liaising with government stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi (regional language preferred).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Must belong to or be well-acquainted with the local region and its government ecosystem.
• Age : around 35 years.
• Reporting To : National Head Government Business.
