OverView :

The Business Development Manager supervises and controls all strategic and business aspects of the Waterbridge Education portfolio. As such the BDM is leading the development of the Company’s short and long-term strategies with a view to creating business value. He is responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success. The goal of the BDM is to drive the company’s development and guide it toward long-term success with the achievement of yearly financial growth, both strategic and implementation.

Responsibility :

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Development Planning

  • Planning and conceptualizing innovative ideas/ways in order to increase the business by keeping tabs on the competition, to be an advanced and outstanding brand in the market. 
  • Led to prepare the yearly planning of e year. 
  • Completing and implementing the blueprint of the existing 5-year investment plan.

 

Market Analysis

  • Mapping the direct and indirect competitors
  • Develop strategic plans and action plans
  • Identifying and penetrating the new market segments for attainment of targets with a view to optimizing revenue and taking care of Public Relations and branding activities
  • Working on generating new leads, mapping sectors, targeting potential enrollments, and sales, and attracting potentially qualified teachers/key people and staff

 

Budget Planning

  • Led the related team to create the budget for annual expenses by balancing between expenses and income

 

Brand Awareness, Branding & Marketing

 

  • Attracting new students/customers by preparing marketing strategies, increasing brand awareness, and implementing them in coordination with the branding concepts of the business and competitor’s intelligence.

 

Sales/Enrollments

  • Developing competitive sales/enrollments strategies for deeper market penetration 
  • Executing an overall business plan to lead generation and meet revenue targets
  • Presenting the business to potential clients through direct and indirect communications including but not limited to face-to-face meetings, telephone call and emails. 
  • Possessing drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales/enrolments opportunities are captured and explored 

Relation Building

  • Implementing effective strategies to impress our customers and reinforce trust
  • Responsible for creating the culture and identity of each business, identifying, securing, and managing relationships with an organization outside and inside of the company that helps other key functions of the company achieve their respective goals
  • Working closely with the management team to make sure that there is a high-quality standard of products and to maintain its standards
  • Collaborating and supporting all departments
  • BDM is part of the leadership team, support and inputs from BDM in other areas are expected
  • Upholds and promotes mental health and emotional well-being as priorities in our school, and adheres to the School's Vision Statement for Well-being.

 

Services and Products Development

  • Services and products include, products, sub-products, direct and indirect services

New Potential Business

  • Looking for new potential new business and doing analysis on a new potential investment, and advise the SDO with regards to investment risk and return

Research and Development

  • Analyzing problematic situations and occurrences and providing solutions to ensure business survival and growth
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of the markets, and industries and producing a strategic plan to upgrade the products and service

SkillsDescription :

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Must have experience in

    Education Industry

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
