About Us:

Position Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding distribution networks, and establishing Fertinagros strong market presence across key agricultural regions of India. The role demands a strategic, target-driven professional with deep knowledge of the states crop patterns and fertilizer market.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales growth by promoting Fertinagro’s range of specialty fertilizers and crop nutrition products in Maharashtra.

Develop and execute regional business plans to increase market share and brand visibility.

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, large farmers, cooperatives, and institutional clients.

Monitor competitor products, pricing, and marketing activities to identify new business opportunities.

Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to company’s credit and distribution policies.

Provide regular market feedback, sales reports, and forecasts to the management team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

2+ years of experience in sales or business development in the fertilizer, agrochemical, or seed industry.

Strong understanding of Maharashtra’s agricultural landscape, major crops, and dealer networks.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
