Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Core Accounting & Finance

1. Manage all general accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations (e.g., bank statements, vendor ledgers, 26AS data).
3. Assist in the finalization of accounts, including the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Oversee and manage day-to-day expense tracking and processing of vendor co-ordination & vendor invoices.
5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and clarification.

GST and Taxation Compliance

1. Ensure end-to-end compliance with all GST laws and regulations.
2. Prepare and file accurate monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) within stipulated deadlines.
3. Calculate monthly TDS liabilities and ensure timely deposit of the same.
4. File quarterly TDS/TCS returns and issue necessary certificates (e.g., Form 16/16A) to vendors and employees.
5. Conduct regular reconciliation of GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) as per GSTR-2A/2B and 26AS data with the company's books of accounts.
6. Liaise with tax authorities and consultants to manage any GST or TDS inquiries, notices, or audits.
7. Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and recommend necessary adjustments to processes.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books) is a must.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations.

Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
