Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive project-based sales and expand market presence across key sectors. The role focuses on identifying new project opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, and ensuring product specification at early stages of the project cycle. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to B2B project sales within construction, interiors, or building materials.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across healthcare, hospitality, institutional, and government projects.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through market research, networking platforms, and industry databases.

  • Develop relationships with architects, consultants, PMCs, and procurement authorities to ensure product specification and influence project decisions.

  • Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial pitches tailored to different customer segments.

  • Prepare proposals and quotations in coordination with internal teams, and support the pricing and negotiation process.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely follow-ups and smooth lead conversions.

  • Track lead status, update CRM systems regularly, and prepare weekly reports on meetings, opportunities, lost cases, and market insights.

  • Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic inputs to strengthen market positioning.


Required Skills & Competencies


  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Good understanding of project life cycles, institutional procurement, and construction industry workflows.

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities with a structured and disciplined approach.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, reporting, and basic documentation.

  • Self-driven attitude with strong problem-solving ability.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related fields.

  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.

  • 3 6 years of experience in B2B project sales or business development within construction, interiors, building materials, or related sectors.
