Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the field of EdTech, your role will involve owning a defined territory and driving revenue growth by targeting schools, coaching centers, and institutional accounts. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, qualifying prospects, and converting opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. You will also need to execute consultative sales cycles with school leadership and decision-makers, manage end-to-end sales activities, and build long-term relationships with key accounts for upselling and renewals. Key Responsibilities: - Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities to achieve revenue targets - Execute consultative sales cycles and close contracts with school leadership and decision-makers - Manage end-to-end sales activities including pipeline forecasting, proposal creation, and pricing negotiation - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts for upselling and renewals - Coordinate with internal teams for smooth pilot execution and customer success handoffs - Track and report territory metrics in CRM, provide market feedback, and refine go-to-market strategies Qualifications Required: Must-Have: - Proven B2B field sales experience in the education sector - Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing enterprise deals - Skills in consultative selling, needs analysis, and contract negotiation - Ability to travel extensively and manage field operations independently - Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong local market knowledge Preferred: - Prior EdTech sales experience or familiarity with digital learning platforms - Experience working with K12 decision-makers and school administrators - Background in channel partnerships or regional sales leadership In addition to the above, you will benefit from an attractive fixed + variable compensation package with uncapped commissions and performance incentives.
