Job Title: Business Development Manager Industry: Freight & Logistics Location: Sector 75, Mohali Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our freight and logistics team based in Sector 75, Mohali . The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation or logistics industry and a strong ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and grow our customer base. This role operates within a fixed morning shift schedule. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight and logistics sector. Develop relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and businesses needing transportation services. Manage and grow a portfolio of clients through consistent communication and quality service delivery. Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely deliveries. Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pricing models to prospective clients. Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, preferably in freight, logistics, or transportation. Strong understanding of freight operations and industry dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
