Role OverviewWe are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) based in Mumbai to lead city-level growth. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new outlet locations, building partnerships, and executing strategies to grow abCoffee’s presence across the city. Key ResponsibilitiesOutlet Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and secure high-potential locations for abCoffee outlets (kiosks, capsules, hole-in-wall). Market Research: Analyze catchments, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to guide expansion strategy. Deal Negotiation: Lead discussions with landlords, developers, and real-estate partners for site acquisition. Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (developers, mall operators, corporates, etc.). Strategy & Execution: Align city-level expansion plans with abCoffee’s overall growth strategy. Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with projects, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth outlet launches. Reporting: Maintain pipeline trackers, expansion dashboards, and share regular progress with leadership. Requirements3–6 years of experience in business development, retail expansion, or real estate (F&B/retail preferred). Strong network within Mumbai’s real estate, developers, and property ecosystem. Hands-on, execution-driven mindset with proven ability to close deals. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Analytical approach with ability to assess commercial viability of locations. High ownership and entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a fast-scaling startup.
