Business Development Manager 3PL Logistics

Role Overview: You will be joining Vihira Integrated Logistics LLP as a Business Development Manager, focusing on B2B client acquisition and strategic planning to drive growth initiatives and expand the clientele. Your role will involve generating leads, preparing proposals, developing business strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams for successful client onboarding. Key Responsibilities: - Generate leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry connections. - Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads across various industries. - Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations based on client requirements. - Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure and client onboarding. - Coordinate with operations and legal teams for the smooth implementation of new client accounts. - Develop business development strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Identify new growth areas, service opportunities, and market trends to enhance service offerings. - Analyze regional demand and industry shifts to identify potential growth opportunities. - Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. - Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through regular engagement and issue resolution. - Work closely with internal operations teams to align business development with operational capabilities. - Participate in pricing discussions, negotiations, and finalizing service level agreements. - Contribute to budgeting, sales forecasting, and reporting activities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. - 6-7+ years of relevant experience in business development within the logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industry. - Proven track record of client acquisition and business generation with measurable results. - In-depth understanding of warehousing, C&F operations, last-mile delivery models, and 3PL structures. - Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. - Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and business analytics dashboards.
