Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. The intern will assist in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting lead generation and conversion activities. This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on exposure to sales strategy, client management, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Identify potential clients through online research, social media, and databases.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain and update lead databases and CRM systems.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Assist in initial client outreach via email, calls, and social media.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and presentations with prospective clients.
  • Support client onboarding and maintain professional client relationships.

Sales & Business Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and quotations.
  • Track sales pipelines and update reports regularly.
  • Support negotiations and closing processes under supervision.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align business goals.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly business development reports.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.

Skills Preferred:

  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
  • LinkedIn outreach and email marketing basics.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills (basic level).
