Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development & GeM Executive to manage both corporate and government business opportunities. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new markets, driving revenue growth, and managing tender/bidding processes on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. This role combines business development, client relationship management, and tender documentation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

A. Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate and institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calls, and digital channels.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue and client acquisition targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, and accounts) to ensure smooth project execution.

B. GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Operations

  • Manage end-to-end operations on the GeM portal, including product listing, bid participation, and order fulfillment.
  • Identify and monitor relevant tenders/bids published on GeM that align with company offerings.
  • Prepare technical and financial bid documents as per tender requirements.
  • Ensure timely bid submission and maintain compliance with government procurement guidelines.
  • Track order status, handle queries, and ensure smooth coordination with government departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of tenders, bids, and contract performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of government orders.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Government e-Marketplace (GeM) operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GeM portal management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,683.71 - ₹16,000.00 per month
