Overview of the Role:

B2B Business Development executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and engage with educational institutions to understand their needs and propose tailored EdTech solutions.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of leads from colleges, and educational bodies through outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations for decision-makers (administrators, deans, IT heads & other stakeholders).
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and follow-ups using Sheets.
  • Collaborate with product and other teams to ensure customer onboarding and retention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, curriculum changes, and competitor offerings to provide insights to prospects and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling to educational institutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of the EdTech landscape and how technology integrates with colleges/universities systems.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience selling LMS platforms , Training courses etc.
  • Familiarity with public and private education procurement processes.
