Job Description

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

The BDM will be responsible for the full sales cycle, including:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to

    identify, qualify, and target new potential clients needing staffing solutions

    (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, Direct Hire).
  • Utilize cold calling, networking, email campaigns, social selling, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, staffing needs, and organizational structure.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., HR Directors, Hiring Managers, C-level Executives).
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and present customized staffing proposals and service agreements that align with client requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to maximize profit margins while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and activity targets.

  • Market Knowledge & Collaboration:

  • Stay current on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within the US staffing industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the Recruiting and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and candidate placement satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline status within the system.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of

    3+ years of successful B2B business development experience

  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas.

  • Demonstrated ability to close deals ranging from mid-size contracts to large enterprises.
