Job Description: We are seeking a well-groomed, proactive candidate with prior experience or a strong interest in the renewable energy sector. The Business Development Executive will collaborate with internal proposal and technical teams to convert leads into long-term energy clients and drive the company's growth in the industrial and commercial solar space. Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Identify potential industrial and commercial clients for captive, group-captive or rooftop solar projects. Travel to meet prospects, conduct presentations, and establish trust-based relationships. Maintain consistent follow-ups and support clients through the decision-making process. Proposal Development Collaborate with internal teams to prepare custom proposals, including ROI/savings analysis and basic financial metrics. Deliver professionally presented solutions that align with client needs. Sales Conversion Clearly explain the benefits of solar solutions and the financial/commercial advantages. Address client concerns and work towards deal closure through value-driven discussions. Coordinate on documentation, agreements, and onboarding once deals are closed. Market Awareness Stay informed about industry developments and competitors. Report on client feedback and help improve sales approaches and strategies. Desired Candidate Profile: Experience: 1–3 years in renewable energy, solar sales, or EPC/business development roles Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil Client-facing confidence with strong presentation and persuasion ability Comfortable working with proposals, savings models, and basic financials Ability to coordinate with technical and internal support teams Personality: Well-groomed, presentable, and professional Self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about clean energy Willing to travel across Tamil Nadu as needed Compensation: Salary: ~₹50,000/month (take home salary) Perks: Travel allowance, career growth opportunities.
